"Administrative Rights" required for Registration Key

Issue:
WBid displays an "Administrative Rights" error message when entering or retrieving my Registration Key. How do I enter the Key?

Cause:
Windows Vista User Access Control prevents a program from writing to the Windows Registry. This will occur even if you are logged in to Windows with an Administrator account.

Solution:

The following assumes you have already registered this version of WBid.

  • Close WBid.
  • RIGHT click the WBid icon on your desktop.
  • Select "Run As Administrator" from the pull-down menu.
  • Enter the credentials for an Administrator Account.
  • When WBid opens click Register Later.
  • select File | Retrieve | Data Updates.

This will retrieve and install your new Registration Key.
